Becoming an Employee

To become an employee at Downtown Cab Co. you must first go to the City Hall at 243 Carcer Way and select the "Taxi" job. When you're employed you can then head to the Downtown Cab Co. lot at 185 Tangerine St.

Open the job menu via /jobmenu or your assigned & select the Taxi Job, this will officially mark you as ‘on-duty’ and start your periodic payments.

Locate the red arrow near the entrance of the parking lot, and open the garage to spawn in the cab.

Starting Your Shift

When you're ready to begin, you can turn on your meter & have it prepared to use throughout your shift. Hold F1 -> Work -> Show/Hide Meter.

Taxi/Rideshare Task

NPC Customers

With everything ready, you can either wait to be called upon by another player or utilize the ‘NPC’ missions. To use the local missions, hold F1 -> Work -> NPC Mission. This will give you a waypoint for your local customer. Once you arrive, collect the customer & the meter will automatically start. Drive to the waypoint safely, drop the customer off & you will receive payment.

Player Customers

Actively drive around popular areas or find an appropriate place to park & await to be called upon by another player. When you receive a job, drive to the location and pick the customer up. Start the meter and begin driving to the destination. Upon arrival, stop the meter and bill the customer. This can be done by entering /invoices then click create invoice. Fill out the invoice as follows, once complete you will select the person near you. They will then head to their bank app and pay the invoice

Ending your Shift

Return to the Downtown Cab Co. lot at 185 Tangerine St. Store your vehicle in the garage. Open the and mark yourself as ‘off-duty’.
