Medical Emergencies
Injuries
Each body part can receive different types of injuries. Each injury has a different level of pain and bleeding that will be inflicted upon the body part. Although some of the injuries can be solved by using treatment items - almost every single item will need to be treated by medical.
Wounds
While doing your thing in the state you may have an accident, some of these wounds are the most common and are best handled if treated by medical professionals.
Abrasion
This is what's better known as a scrape, you get these as a result of friction against a rough surface typically caused by vehicle collisions and falling from high places.
Avulsions
This is a failure of bone in which a bone fragment is pulled away from its main body by soft tissue that is attached to it which is typically caused by gunshot wounds (GSWs).
Contusion
This is what's better known as a bruise and is gotten by a direct blow to the body that can cause damage to the surface of the skin and to deeper tissues as well depending on the severity of the blow. This is typically caused by vehicle collisions and falling.
Crush
This is when your wounds are where the skin has been split and tearing underlying structures or shattering them. This is caused by major vehicle collisions and falling from high heights.
Cuts
This is a slicing that produces an even-edge wound that causes blood loss and is typically caused by shrapnel, explosions, and the occasional paper cut.
Laceration
This is a slicing wound that produces a ragged edge wound typically caused by vehicle collisions or falling.
Velocity Wound
This is a wound caused by small objects entering the body at high speed, typically a bullet or small pieces of shrapnel
Puncture Wound
This is a deep wound in your flesh that is caused by sharp objects like knives or very small pieces of shrapnel
Out of all the wounds you have the possibility of receiving, if left untreated there will be negative consequences to your character's health. You will begin to have blood loss and if left untreated by EMS or a Doctor you may pass out and even die. You also may experience going in and out of consciousness or simply passing out. All of these have the ability to be treated fast and with care by EMS or Doctors so if you have the ability to request help, do so as your life may depend on it.
Medical Menu
Explain what the medical menu is what it does and the things inside of it (Explain Different Tabs)
You're able to open the Medical Menu with the default key bind of H. Upon opening you will be greeted with a diagram of your character where you'll see what injuries you have and have the ability to check your diagnostics.

Check into a hospital
If you or someone has sustained injuries and can make it to the hospital, you'll need to check them in to get treated by medical professionals. To do so, you need to bring them to the front desk and locate the book pictured below. If they're conscious, they can use their "Third Eye" to check themselves in. If they are unconscious you'll need to check them in by using your F1 Menu, pressing the F1 key, and then Hospitalize followed by selecting the person you need to check in.
