The San Andreas Department of Transportation (SADOT) is the government agency designated for maintenance & installations on traffic networks across the state. To ensure that all duties stowed upon SADOT are completed efficiently, the agency is split into two (2) divisions. The Highway Emergency Response Office & Horizon Recovery, H.E.R.O. focuses on the roadway aspect of the job, while Horizon is dedicated to vehicle recovery and transportation.
SADOT Works alongside state law enforcement & fire rescue services to ensure fluent and efficient upkeep of vehicles and roadways. One of the many ways SADOT works hand-in-hand with law enforcement is with the SAHP SEP Commercial Vehicle Enforcement to conduct oversized load escorts. Find the Mutual Aid Agreement here.
Base pay within SADOT is $50, this changes as you move up the ranks. This means it will defer from rank to rank.
After being accepted & receiving your onboarding, you will be moved onto the basic training phase. A qualified SADOT CTO will host this & will cover all bases within the job.
To start working for SADOT, you must apply using the application . Once your application is received, a member of SADOT management will be in contact to accept or deny it. Should it be accepted, you will be provided with further information on getting your onboarding & training.
